A marble counter on a soft, cork floor and origami lamps above the golden presentation tables; everything has been devised in detail. The store-like atmosphere invites to play with furniture, color- and wallpaper panels, to create a unique style.”, says Marloes Peters, Creative Director.

KRUIDVAT CITY STORE!

During a shopping spree you’ll rather buy a mascara at Kruidvat, than toilet paper, right? On the 8th of November, Kruidvat opened its first city store, at the Nieuwendijk in Amsterdam. The new retail concept, which we designed together with Kruidvat, is specifically focused on the city centre. The stores are focused more on impulse purchases, snacks and make-up.

“With our stores, we want to respond efficiently to the customers needs. In the busy shopping streets, consumers are more orientated towards beauty products and fashion accessories. For this, we’ve created more space in our city store. Additionally, we offer snacks and cooled beverages to go in this new concept. As extra convenience, the shops offer free Wifi.”, says Gerard van Breen, CEO of A. S. Watson Benelux, according to Distrifood.

SVT Branding & Design Group has developed several facets, including a new instore communication, store lay out, design and the world of beauty.

Next year, the new concept of Kruidvat in the city can be found in Arnhem, Tilburg and Nijmegen.
